Experienced Baker

We are seeking a qualified or experienced Baker to join our dedicated team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll prepare and bake a variety of bread, rolls, and other bakery products while ensuring consistency, quality, and freshness. Key Duties and Responsibilities Preparing, mixing, kneading, moulding, and baking bread and other bakery products Regulating oven temperatures and baking times Applying glazes, icings, and other finishes where required Maintaining stock levels of ingredients and materials Cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas in accordance with food safety standards Ensuring quality control and product consistency Training or supervising apprentices and junior bakery staff (for experienced bakers) Working collaboratively as part of a fast‑paced production team Skills and Experience Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent qualification/experience) Previous commercial baking experience preferred (apprenticeships available for suitable candidates) Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as rostered Reliability, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented mindset Why Work With Us Supportive and friendly local team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and career development within the Bakers Delight network Competitive wages and staff discounts Be part of a trusted Australian brand that values quality, teamwork, and community About the Company At Bakers Delight Lavington , we’re proud to bake fresh, high‑quality bread and pastries every day for our local community.
