Join to apply for the Field Project Engineer role at Origin Energy Join a team that's All Kinds of Useful About the Role This role manages projects across the full lifecycle, from front‑end engineering and tendering through to scoping, construction, commissioning, and handover for gas and water gathering systems, wellsite facilities, and associated infrastructure. You’ll deliver greenfield and brownfield projects that support asset reliability and operational excellence in Queensland, ensuring safety, compliance, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met. This role can be locally based or FIFO (15 on 13 off roster). Drive HSE performance and embed continuous improvement initiatives across all project phases. Lead project delivery from FEED through tender, award, construction and commissioning for gas gathering systems, wellsite facilities and associated infrastructure. Collaborate with Asset Engineering, Field Operations and Maintenance teams to align projects with asset strategies and annual field plans. Oversee quality assurance, risk management and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. About You Proven ability to deliver greenfield and brownfield projects within operational assets. Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a relevant trade discipline (electrical, civil, mechanical, process). Expertise in managing quality assurance inspections, systems and documentation. Experience in front‑end surface and process design, project management or design management is highly desirable.
