Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate assessments of necessary repairs. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship standards. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical issues. Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in automotive technology. Requirements Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive service environment. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively to identify issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to supervise apprentices. Right to work in Australia.
