SALARY: Salary + Performance Bonus + Residential Allowance + Private Health Cover + Insurance Allowance + Gym Membership Discount + Other Benefits RESIDENTIAL: Kalgoorlie/Boulder DUTIES Conduct risks assessments for field tasks at a team and individual level. Complete regular safety inspections of grade control drill rigs and ancillary equipment. Assist Geologists & Surveyors in completing ore mark ups, geological mapping, clast hole sampling ensuring no unplanned standby of mining equipment due to ore not being marked up. Ensure samples meet the GC QC sampling standards before removal of samples from the drill site. Reporting any non-compliance in sampling or drilling technique immediately to the driller and Senior Geologist. Maintain electronic records of all sample submissions and drilling completed by the Open Pit Geology team, ensure paper copies and files are accessible. Regular stockpile sampling, ensuring data is recorded showing assayed grades. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (Preferable) Forklift Licence (Desirable) 4WD competent and experience working in remote locations (Desirable). Knowledge (or formal training) of geological sampling theory (Desirable). Experience in conducting geological / geochemical sampling programs (Desirable).
