Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurse (Part Time) Apply for the Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurse (Part Time) role at City Fertility . About the Role Work 3 days per week (7.6 hours per day), primarily in Anaesthetics and Recovery. Opportunity to contribute across clinics and cross‑train with the IVF Nursing team. Your Responsibilities Will Include Pre‑operative assessment and patient admission Anaesthesia administration and intraoperative monitoring Airway management and post‑operative care Patient education and emotional support Multiskilling across admissions, scrub, and scout roles What We Are Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate nurse who thrives in a team‑oriented setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional care. You’ll bring: Proven qualifications and experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery A collaborative mindset and willingness to support across clinics Interest in expanding your scope through IVF nursing cross‑training Qualifications And Experience Bachelor of Nursing Degree or higher (for Registered Nurse) Postgraduate qualifications in Anaesthetics and Recovery Current AHPRA Registration At least 2 years of clinical peri‑operative nursing experience, including anaesthetics and recovery Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred) Knowledge and Competencies In‑depth understanding of day surgery (theatre) nursing Computer literate Adherence to Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses Familiarity with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, decision‑making, and communication skills Application Process Apply now by clicking the ‘Apply’ button.
