Junior Contract Administrator – High-End Residential Construction Halex Group is a fast-growing Melbourne-based building company specialising in architecturally designed, high‑end residential projects. We collaborate with leading architects and designers to deliver homes defined by detail, precision, and craftsmanship. With continued growth across our project portfolio, we’re seeking a motivated Junior Contract Administrator to join our operations team. This role offers hands‑on exposure to contract management, procurement, and project coordination across some of Melbourne’s most exciting residential builds. The Role Reporting to our Senior Team, you will support the preparation, management, and coordination of all project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in Contract Administration within the high‑end residential sector. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing, reviewing, and issuing subcontractor agreements and scopes Maintain RFI logs, variation registers, and key project documentation Support procurement through obtaining quotes, preparing comparisons, and issuing POs Help manage project budgets, cost tracking, and invoice verification Review drawings, plans, and specifications to confirm trade scope and compliance Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure accurate documentation Assist with client‑side documentation, project reporting Maintain organised digital records through Buildertrend and internal systems Skills & Experience 1–3 years’ experience in a Contract Administration, Project Coordination, or construction support role TAFE or university qualification in Construction Management, Building, or a related field Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and trade scopes Proficient with Buildertrend, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook essential) Excellent written communication, organisation, and attention to detail Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to follow up proactively A confident team player who enjoys problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment About You Have a proactive attitude and take pride in accuracy Enjoy working closely with site teams and subcontractors Are organised, methodical, and reliable under pressure Want to grow your career within a structured and supportive business Are motivated by working on high‑end, architecturally designed projects Why Join Halex Group Exposure to unique, design‑led residential projects Clear pathways for career progression Collaborative, quality‑driven team committed to excellence Competitive salary package and long‑term career security How to Apply If you’re ready to take the next step in your construction career and want to grow within a forward‑thinking, design‑focused building company, we’d love to hear from you.
