Business Advisory Director / Partner - Accounting KeyMoves Melbourne, VIC A$200,000-220,000 p/a Hybrid Posted 1 day ago The Employer Our client is a market‑leading Top 100 accounting firm located in Queensland, and they are looking for a Director or Partner to help launch the Victoria division of their practice. Whether you are coming from a Big 4, mid‑tier or smaller practice, there is a great opportunity for you to help grow a practice with strong backing through marketing, referrals and several warm national client relationships. This is a particularly great role for any Business Advisory Associate Directors or Directors who are looking for a clear pathway to equity ownership without needing to take clients with you. Join a practice with a market‑leading brand name in the Building and Construction sector. Lead an ambitious and growing firm with genuine short‑term equity options. Work on several exciting clients from established household names to middle‑market developers. Support from a settled offshore team to assist with compliance, marketing, finance and all other business operations. As an established practice in Queensland, the firm offers excellent leadership training and business development courses to progress further towards the Partner level. Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of clients including HNWI’s, trusts, partnerships and companies, including various family groups Review of complex financial statements Preparing management accounting reports for review Reviewing tax and FBT returns and identifying non‑compliance issues from them Grow a team from the ground up Providing complex business advisory services Review of job and year‑end tax planning advice for clients Requirements 10+ years experience working within a boutique, Big 4 and/or Mid‑Tier accounting firm in Australia Excellent communication and people skills Strong strategic understanding of corporate structures (e.g. trust, companies and partnerships) Commercial, professional and ability to work in a high‑performing environment Experience in managing and leading junior team members Flexibility – genuine flexibility and hybrid working CLEAR career progression to equity level – no road blocks or glass ceiling Development programs – combination of technical, BD and soft skills training Leadership programs Excellent culture and low staff turnover This is an exceptional opportunity to join an established practice, grow a business and have great long‑term career opportunities.
