Senior Store Person - Civil Construction Add expected salary to your profile for insights PCA Ground Engineering (PCA) is an innovative company offering design & construct, civil construction & ground engineering services throughout Australia. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Store Person at our office and yard in Arundel, Gold Coast. You will assist with stock and warehouse management, as well as the delivery of product to site. Some of the key responsibilities include: Monitor and control of stock and parts under the direction of the Logistics Manager Check goods on arrival and before despatch to site, ensuring they have the right products, in the correct quantity and that there is no damage. Use of forklift to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the warehouse for storage. Preparation of stock for various projects at one time. Recording when goods arrived and their exact location in the warehouse. Working safely in all aspects of the role an genuine belief in a safe work culture. Lead, motivate and mentor current logistics & warehouse team Ensure strong work-ethics in the team, leading by example The ideal candidate will have the following mandatory attributes; Strong organisational and time management skills High level of attention to detail Clear and effective communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and without constant supervision Core belief in safety at the workplace Understanding of warehousing and store best practices Positive attitude with an Excellent temperament and team player attitude Physically Fit and Healthy Must maintain a Drug and alcohol-free status The following attributes will be highly regarded: Prior experience in Civil Construction Construction Industry Induction Card Excavator, Telehandler or other general machinery tickets Basic Rigging and Working at Heights license Current minimum Medium Rigid (MR) or Higher Truck license Technical Competence It is a mandatory requirement that all applicants will undertake a pre-employment medical.
