Purchasing Officer – Pharmacy Procurement Team, Western Health Location: Multi-Site (Sunshine and Footscray campuses) Employment Type: Ongoing, Part-Time (40 hours per fortnight) Salary: Grade 3 (HS3) Availability: Immediate Position: The Purchasing Officer will work across our Sunshine and Footscray campuses, overseeing procurement of pharmacy supplies, managing vendor relations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Responsibilities include: Managing purchasing and stock for pharmacy supplies Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet demand Maintaining accurate inventory records and ordering necessary items Applying procurement policies and procedures To Be Successful In This Role, You Will: Have prior purchasing and/or stores experience Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and information technology skills Have strong problem solving and time management skills Be adaptable and work well as part of a team Be able to work across multiple sites Closing Date: 11:59pm on 15 December 2025 Contact: Mark Gummery, Pharmacy Procurement Manager, Western Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to attracting and retaining diversity in our workforce.
