Principal, Technology Assurance Services Join to apply for the Principal, Technology Assurance Services role at Logicalis We’re looking for a pivotal technical expert to join our Delivery team as a Principal, Technology Assurance Services. You will drive high-impact technical assessments and provide services to clients across Australia's heavily regulated industries. This role leverages deep technical and regulatory expertise to identify client challenges, articulate the value of Logicalis's managed services, and generate downstream opportunities, with a 60% billable and 40% non-billable work split. You will play a critical role in expanding Logicalis's footprint in areas such as compliance, cybersecurity, cloud, and emerging AI/ML governance. What You’ll Do Technical Assessment & Advisory Delivery (Approx. 60% Billable) Lead and deliver Logicalis's Order of Magnitude (OOM) offerings and other technical assessments, including but not limited to: APRA CPS 230 Gap Analysis Privacy Act Assessments SOCI Act Risk Assessment & Gap Analysis Zero Trust Readiness Assessments Secure CI/CD Pipeline Assessments AI Readiness & Risk Assessments AI Data Privacy Audits Conduct in-depth technical analysis of client environments, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities aligned with Logicalis's service catalogue. Develop comprehensive assessment reports and strategic roadmaps that clearly articulate findings, recommendations, and business value. Present findings to senior client stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear business implications. Provide expert technical and advisory services on Logicalis's core offerings, including CaaS, DevSecOps-as-a-Service, and Sovereign & Hybrid Cloud Solutions. Offer guidance on emerging areas such as AI Governance & Risk Management, Secure AI Development & Deployment, and AI Data Sovereignty & Privacy. Act as a trusted advisor to clients through complex technical and regulatory challenges. Strategic Contribution & Capability Development (Approx. 40% Non-Billable) Identify downstream opportunities for long-term, high-margin managed services based on assessment findings. Collaborate with Account Executives and sales teams to qualify leads, develop proposals, and ensure seamless handover of opportunities. Participate in pre-sales activities to support the sales cycle for complex engagements. Drive strategy and evolution of Logicalis Australia's technical assessment offerings to meet market demands. Partner with sales, delivery, and leadership to align priorities with growth objectives. Provide executive-ready insights from assessments, highlighting risks and opportunities. Develop intellectual property such as whitepapers and solution briefs related to assessments, compliance, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI/ML governance. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to keep offerings current. Contribute to internal upskilling through training and knowledge sharing. Support development of new assessment methodologies and tools and contribute to business cases; optimize tools and processes used for assessments and reporting. What Success Looks Like Achieve 60% billable utilization through high-quality assessments and advisory engagements. Generate measurable downstream opportunities and hand them over to sales teams for recurring revenue. Deliver actionable, high-value assessments that enhance client satisfaction and perceived expert guidance. Contribute to IP development and thought leadership through technical content. Enable sales through pre-sales support and strong internal collaboration. Maintain and enhance deep technical and regulatory expertise, especially in AI governance and security. What You’ll Bring Experience & Skills Typically 8+ years in technical solution architecture or senior technical roles within IT services, with a focus on assessments and advisory. Deep expertise in one or more service areas: Compliance (APRA CPS 230, Essential Eight, ISO 27001, SOCI Act, Privacy Act), Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions (Sovereign/Hybrid Cloud, Zero Trust), or AI/ML governance and security. Ability to influence and engage at all levels from C-level to project teams. Experience with technical assessment methodologies, reporting tools, and articulating business value. Comfort navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Strong client-facing skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous approach to assessments and reporting. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple engagements concurrently. Experience working in Australian regulated industries is advantageous. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure certifications, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) highly desirable.
