Our client is currently seeking a Senior Surveyor / Survey Manager to join the team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced surveyor with a strong track record in managing complex surveying projects to join a dynamic and growing company. Key Responsibilities Manage and lead survey teams on a range of projects across Melbourne and Victoria Ensure that all surveys are carried out in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that surveying requirements are met Provide technical guidance to survey teams on best practices and innovative techniques Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Manage survey equipment and software to ensure high-quality data collection and processing Provide input into the development of surveying processes and procedures Requirements Bachelor's degree in Surveying Licensed Surveyor Previous experience in a leadership role Experience with a range of surveying techniques, including GPS, laser scanning would be highly regarded Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to surveying in Victoria Experience with a variety of software including 12D, 12D Field Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to lead and manage survey teams effectively Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role, initially leading a key project and transitioning into an office based management role as you grow the team.
