Overview Investment Banking Analyst - Australia role at JPMorganChase. This position is within the Investment Banking coverage team, contributing to transaction execution, marketing and client coverage initiatives, and helping drive culture, capabilities and strategy of the business. Roles are within the General Industries & FIG team and Real Assets team. Responsibilities Participate in the full cycle of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, and preparing and presenting internal and client presentations. Play a leadership role in implementing the execution function, including working with and supporting associates as well as assisting more senior bankers. Strengthen analytical, modelling, research and writing and presentation skills with the goal of progressing within the bank over time. Be knowledgeable about the global and Australian sectors and collaborate closely with colleagues across JP Morgan’s global platform as well as Australian product groups. Demonstrate enthusiasm for JP Morgan’s mission and commitment to the firm’s success. Work with the broader team of over 100 Analysts and Associates across the APAC region and participate in real-time transactions, which may include travel. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Prior work experience in investment banking or finance-related sectors with awareness of products and services provided. A strong academic background from a top-tier educational institution. Strong financial modelling skills. General understanding of the M&A and capital markets transaction cycle and processes involved. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders in other product groups. Proactive, highly motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. About Us J.P.
