Program Coordinator (Being Our Best Brave) Help empower LGBTIQA+ young people in Greater Shepparton to thrive. As the Program Coordinator of our Being Our Best Brave, you’ll design and lead a mix of strength‑based workshops, peer support activities and community engagement opportunities that help young people (12–18 years) build confidence, connection and a sense of belonging. Responsibilities Design and build a new program empowering LGBTIQA+ young people Deliver strength‑based workshops, peer activities and connections Monitor program outcomes, collect feedback and prepare reports Partner with Team Lead to share impact across the community Qualifications Understanding of LGBTIQA+ young people’s needs and experience designing/coordinating youth or community programs Strong stakeholder relationships across schools and services, excellent communication skills, and ability to guide facilitators, volunteers or peer leaders Strong organisational skills and experience in monitoring program quality, collecting feedback and preparing reports Commitment to inclusive, culturally safe practice and alignment with Uniting’s values Strong child‑safety focus and ability to create safe environments for young people Relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) and a current Victorian driver’s licence Benefits Part‑time (15.2 h per week), flexible days except Tuesday in office Hourly wage: SCHADS Level 5 ($51 /hr) + super 17.5% leave loading Up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits Paid parental leave up to 10 weeks for primary caregivers (4 weeks for secondary) Training and development opportunities How To Apply Click APPLY to submit your interest.
