We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Stores Person to join our team in Brisbane, QLD . If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome aboard. Your role This role’s primary responsibility is to safely assist the stores and warehouse team in the daily operation of the aircraft maintenance stores, supporting the aircraft engineers onsite. This includes: Ensure unserviceable components are dispatched for repair in a timely manner. Maintain supply of commercial items. Maintain accurate stock control. Oversee the shipping and transfer of company tooling between bases. Coordinate the movement of stock and freight to meet aircraft schedules. Inspect and return unused parts post maintenance event. Demonstrate good decision making and organisation skills. The essential requirements We are not looking for just anyone. We are looking for an autonomous, passionate and experienced stores person who/with: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment. Understanding of aircraft line/ramp and heavy maintenance and operations. Knowledge of relevant aircraft maintenance / overhaul documentation and planning processes. Hold a forklift license. Driver’s licence. Can work well in a diverse team. Ability to follow supervisory direction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Consistent positive and proactive attitude. Passion for safe work practices. Valid work visa. Flexibility to work shift rotations. ASIC card or has the ability to obtain it. Is prepared to undergo AOD testing and adhere to a DAMP policy. Shifts will be primarily structured as a 4‑on, 4‑off arrangement.
