As AML Supervisor, you’ll oversee AML operations to ensure compliance with AML/CTF obligations, including managing operational volumes and regulatory reporting such as SMR submissions. Reporting to the Manager AML/KYC – Financial Intelligence, you’ll lead transaction monitoring, customer screening, enhanced due diligence and customer outreach processes. What you will be doing Oversee transaction monitoring, name screening and SMR submissions to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes Manage Enhanced Due Diligence reviews, customer risk assessments and outreach in line with AML/CTF requirements Lead regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, adherence to procedures and responsiveness to regulatory changes Collaborate with internal stakeholders, provide team training, and support audits and enterprise-wide risk assessments Prepare management reporting and updates for senior leadership and governance committees Drive continuous improvement, maintain quality standards, resolve complaints, and lead team coaching and performance management Ensure compliance with AML/CTF frameworks, communicate regulatory updates, and perform additional duties as directed What you will bring Strong experience in AML/CTF operations within financial services, including team leadership Relevant degree in accounting, finance, law or a related field Strong knowledge of AML regulations, risk and compliance frameworks, and industry best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills Proven ability to meet performance standards, manage risk and ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements Ability to coach and lead teams, drive continuous improvement and respond effectively to change Security certifications and financial services experience highly regarded Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
