One role is focused on HR systems, compliance, and continuous improvement , ideal for someone who thrives on structure and process optimisation. The other offers a broader generalist scope , including mentoring staff, managing grievances, and leading employee relations initiatives. Both roles report to the Manager of HR & Safety and play a key part in driving SWEK’s strategic people agenda. Your key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Leading HR service delivery across either systems‑focused or generalist portfolios Mentoring and supporting junior HR and safety team members Advising managers on people strategy, employee relations, and workplace matters Enhancing HR systems and improving internal processes and workflows Coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and organisational change initiatives Contributing to policy development, workplace investigations, and compliance outcomes Delivering HR support across both Kununurra and Wyndham (with some travel required) Championing a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and staff development Partnering with industry bodies and stakeholders to support continuous improvement Supporting leadership development and succession planning during team transition What You’ll Bring To be considered in either role, you will need a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline , along with at least 3 years of experience in a similar HR capacity.
