Aquatic Services Coordinator

Belgravia Leisure is hiring for the Aquatic Services Coordinator role at NSW, Manning Aquatic & Leisure Centre - Taree 2430. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our aquatic team and oversee the swim school operations, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality programs and services. Overview The Aquatic Services Coordinator is responsible for the management and operation of the swim school and related services. You will lead the Aquatic Services Officers / Swim Teachers to ensure programs are delivered to the highest standard. You will deliver exceptional customer service with in‑depth knowledge of aquatic programs and industry practices. You will plan and organise lessons, provide leadership to the team, and drive service improvement through professionalism, equality, teamwork, accountability, and innovation. You will maintain strong relationships with bookings (local clubs, schools) and seek opportunities to increase school lessons and user group bookings. You will identify opportunities (including new programs) to maximise participation and will develop and execute plans with the leadership team and key stakeholders. The role initially involves direct service responsibilities, including time spent in the water and on the deck supervising staff and programs, including Saturdays. Responsibilities Lead the aquatic team and oversee swim school operations Plan and organise lessons and supervise staff and programs, including Saturdays Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain in‑depth knowledge of aquatic programs Maintain and grow bookings with local clubs, schools, and user groups Identify opportunities to maximise participation and develop program plans with leadership Key accountabilities Implement and promote the GOSwim program in line with Belgravia standards Implement processes for the success of the GOSwim program Adhere to business plan objectives and events calendar Achieve the set KPIs including financial performance Focus on the number of schools attending the program Retention of schools Maintain NPS and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs Manage budgets and prepare required reports Qualifications National Police Check Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate Working With Children Check (or equivalent) Current Swimming Teacher Certificate - Teaching of water swimming and water safety Swimming Teacher extension certificates (desirable but not essential) Previous Swim School Coordinator experience Strong people leadership with an ability to inspire others Excellent verbal and written communication skills Legally entitled to work in Australia About the Company Belgravia Leisure is part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG) and is the fastest growing leisure organisation in Australia.
