Corporate Receptionist - Front of House Madison Marcus Law Firm invites applications for a full‑time Corporate Receptionist, Monday to Friday, based in our Sydney CBD office. Position Overview The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: All front‑of‑house duties with reception services, catering, and stock supplies. Answering and coordinating incoming calls on a digital multi‑line switchboard. Collecting, registering, sorting, stamping and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes. Faxing/photocopying and arranging couriers. Maintaining and purchasing stationery, stock and express/registered post envelopes. Maintaining client and staff kitchen facilities and amenities. Arranging refreshments and catering requests. Greeting and checking in/out clients. Maintaining new matter enquiry log and boardroom bookings. Maintaining reception area, foyer and boardroom spaces. Updating administrative spreadsheets (floor plan, organisation chart, security register, birthday lists, etc.). Assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying, ordering gifts and scanning documents. Logging maintenance or facilities requests with building management, including plant maintenance and urgent carpet spills. Ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required from time to time. Key Attributes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (essential). Strong initiative, reliability, and accuracy with attention to detail. Advanced administrative and organisational skills; effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Ability to work autonomously, learn quickly, and multitask. Professional presentation at all times, in person and over the phone. Demonstrated mature business acumen, discretion, and respect for confidential matters. Skills and Qualifications Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent. 3–4 years of administrative and front‑of‑house experience in a legal office. IT Systems: understanding of Practice Evolve (our practice management system) is an advantage. Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (intermediate to advanced).
