Junior Production Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities – Junior Production Engineer Operation of the Extruders and Co-extruder for production pipes of various diameter and wall thickness Analysis of production process and implement effective procedures to improve production with good computer handling skills. Generate & maintain various reports, records for optimizing the production & quality system. Conforming of pipes meeting as per AS/NZS 4130:2018 standards, Watermark and Standardsmark certification. Compliance maintenance for Product Certification and ISO 9001:2015 Trouble shooting & carry out daily, weekly, scheduled maintenance on all production-oriented equipment's (Extruder, Co-Extruder, Gravimetric Unit, Vacuum Tank, Haul Off, Winder, Grinder, printer, Hopper Loader, Saw, Strapping machine, pumps, chiller, Air-Compressor) Reduce rejections & break down time, conduct analysis. Need to perform pipe testing as per the Australian Standard. Ensure poly pipes are marked & stacked properly. Identify Continuous / Area of improvement were ever possible to enhance the productivity Identify preventive maintenance activities & implement on time Calibration of measuring tools Effectively maintain various Die, Mandrels & Calibrator Maintain work safe procedure on all aspects of job Manage other general production staff while on shift Manage & train new engineer, offsiders on specific jobs allotted. Assist with plant maintenance, Truck loading and other activities. Qualifications Required: Polymer/Mechanical/Chemical Engineers About You: The successful candidate will become part of emerging polypipe team focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Understanding of safe work procedures Knowledge of quality control requirements and specifications Ability to meet KPIs and performance expectations. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Effective problem-solving and communication skills Flexibility to work in Day, Afternoon and Evening Shifts Effective time management and organisational skills Ability to adapt to change in work environment.
