The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team based in West Perth . You'll take ownership of your own projects – managing subcontractors, coordinating works on‑site, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and play a key role in project planning, client engagement, and site execution. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands‑on involvement , problem‑solving, and being out on‑site rather than behind a desk. You'll be working mainly on Perth metro‑based projects, with occasional regional opportunities. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day project delivery including cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources to meet program requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards . Liaise directly with clients, consultants and superintendents to maintain strong working relationships. Prepare project documentation including ITPs, risk assessments, HIRACs, and progress reports. Identify design or constructability improvements that add value to the project. Support and mentor graduate engineers to foster learning and development. About You You’ll be a motivated engineer with a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work. You’ll have a hands‑on approach and enjoy seeing tangible results in the field. We’re looking for: 2–4 years’ experience in civil or marine construction (site‑based preferred). A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site works. Strong communication and organisational skills. Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement . A genuine interest in building practical, community‑focused infrastructure. Candidates requiring work sponsorship are welcome to apply. Why Join Us Exposure to diverse and challenging projects — no two are the same. Supportive management who actually value work‑life balance. Career progression opportunities within an established and growing contractor. A workplace culture that’s personal, professional and free of bureaucracy. Hear from Our Team "You're trusted to make decisions on‑site — it's real engineering." "There's a lot of variety. One day you're on a jetty, the next you're managing a bridge or park project." "It's a business that genuinely looks after its people. You're not just a number." See for examples of the exciting projects you could be part of. #J-18808-Ljbffr
