Super Immediate start About the Role A QLD state government department is seeking a Test Analyst with strong technical skills and experience in automated testing, utilising Selenium / Cucumber & JAVA, across a variety of applications & platforms. The core systems are: Appian SaaS Cloud platform (core business applications), Ful stack web application - .Net, Angular, Form.io, Java Application. Oracle & SQL databases. The position is a technical role to help extend, uplift and maintain an existing automated testing platform for our 7 applications (hosted on 3 different platforms). It will require building manual and automated tests/scripts, reports, and contributing to establish a CI/CD approach using GitLab. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain test plans and test cases in accordance with specifications or directions. Prepare test scripts – manual and automated, in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Manage testing on diverse applications and real-time interfaces including generating test data and test scripts and documenting all testing activity undertaken. Perform functional testing across different test levels: component, integration system and acceptance to ensure high quality releases. Execute test plans, monitor test execution, and ensure that sufficient testing is conducted prior to upgrades or releases. Assist in establishing a CI/CD approach Automated program of tests delivered via a CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with other team members to support defect management, triage and root cause activities, metrics, and trends. Conduct other testing tasks as agreed with the Technical Lead & Developers Follow coding standards, procedures, and documentation as stipulated. Provide best practice advice, feedback, and coding practices in day-to-day work. Share knowledge and technical skills and contribute to the establishment of the Testing Framework. Work in compliance with Qld Treasury Security Management Framework Experience Demonstrated experience in planning, creating, executing, and maintaining quality code for test plans. Experience using Java, Selenium and Spring utilising the Page Object Model design pattern. Experience using Selenium locators to create robust tests. Experience in testing data outputs and validation and comparison. Experience with API and integration for testing solutions on a variety of platforms (AWS, Azure, Appian) using tools i.e., Postman Load and performance testing on API integration testing using tools i.e. JMeter Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Gitlab.
