About the role We are looking for Pool Lifeguards to join our aquatics team at Swan Active Midland. There are two permanent part time positions currently available (60 hours and 50 hours per fortnight). This role is about ensuring customer visits are safe and enjoyable so we require people that are able to act immediately in the event of an emergency and provide water rescue and first aid care as required. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all facility users by ensuring patron behaviour aligns with pool rules and regulations, and by taking appropriate action to address any disruptive or difficult individuals as necessary. Undertake necessary training and maintain required qualifications. Provide diligent supervision of aquatic areas and provide first aid treatment as appropriate. Assist in the organisation of daily operations of the Centre including programming and equipment set up and pack down. Carry out routine checks and report required maintenance throughout the facility to ensure all equipment is always fully operational and in safe working condition. About working with us The salary for this position will be from $61,253.16 to $66,460.82 per annum pro rata, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. An age modifier will apply to salary for candidates under 21 years of age.
