Your role your impact As a Psychologist in the Toowoomba Integrated Mental Health Hub you'll provide accessible person-centred and trauma-informed psychological care. Working within a multidisciplinary team you'll support individuals and families to achieve their mental health and wellbeing goals through evidence-based interventions and integrated care. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health and psychological assessments to inform individualised treatment planning Deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, relaxation strategies and motivational interviewing Provide crisis response de-escalation and risk management support when required Build strong therapeutic relationships and support collaborative decision-making and goal setting Facilitate group interventions and provide secondary consultation and referral reviews Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated holistic care for participants Engage with community and consortia partners to strengthen referral pathways and service linkages Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with quality and compliance standards Who were looking for Fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA and relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology Minimum 23 years of clinical experience in the mental health sector Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing Experience conducting mental health assessments providing crisis intervention and managing clients with moderate to complex presentations Strong understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants carers families and stakeholders effectively Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary or consortium setting Commitment to culturally safe inclusive and person-centred practice with people from diverse backgrounds including First Nations, LGBTIQ and multicultural communities Current drivers licence and willingness to travel for outreach and community engagement What's in it for you Diversity & belonging: We value all backgrounds, abilities and identities and are committed to cultural safety.
