LEV Engineer – Salisbury

Our client is an established and successful company, known for delivering a wide range of environmental services including LEV testing, validations, and filtration services. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, reliable and P601 qualified LEV Engineer based in and around the Salisbury area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience undertaking the testing, installation, and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems. Experience carrying out clean room validation would also be beneficial to the role. Applications from Swindon, Warminster, Bath, the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Must hold the minimum of the P601 certificate. Hands on experience undertaking the testing, installation and maintenance of LEV systems. Experience in working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards. Experience carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial. Proven track record of producing technical service reports. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Role Undertake local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations and maintenance on a varied site base. Test emissions, review and approve assessments. Collate and produce technical reports. Provide a consultancy service to clients, advising on technical reports and further services. Undertake fume cupboard examinations. Carry out clean room validations. Visit sites designated by the client and deal with issues effectively. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and legislation. Deliver presentations to staff, company and contractors regarding occupational hygiene. Build and maintain a good rapport with clients.
