About the Role Are you ready to make your mark as a Senior Commercial Business Partner? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within the Strategy and Finance Group, where you’ll have a real impact across the organisation. You’ll take charge of management accounting for a diverse range of cost centres, playing a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and influencing key decisions. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading budgeting and forecasting for more than 20 cost centres, guiding the company’s financial direction. Delivering monthly performance insights that directly influence board-level and executive decisions. Using "what-if" financial modelling to explore scenarios and steer strategic choices. Evaluating business cases, assessing investment opportunities, and overseeing capital project accounting. Empowering budget managers and finance teams through training and support to enhance financial expertise. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, legislative requirements, and company policies. About You You're not just a finance professional—you’re a strategic thinker ready to partner with the business and drive impactful results. You bring a solid background in management accounting and financial analysis, ideally within the insurance or financial services sectors. Your qualifications and skills include: A tertiary qualification in accounting (essential); CPA/CA qualification is highly regarded. At least five years of hands-on experience in financial or management accounting roles. A deep understanding of accounting standards, best practices, and financial analysis. Sharp analytical skills, with the ability to make quick, strategic decisions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); familiarity with Technology One is an advantage. Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a talent for negotiation and customer service. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and developing others.
