The Role Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the Senior Storage Engineer will oversee day‑to‑day storage health and plan, design and implement new storage solutions, ensuring the Infrastructure team meets security and strategic objectives. The role requires proven communication and problem‑solving skills to guide and support the technology department in networking and storage design, ensuring data integrity, quality and compliance with industry best practice and SBS requirements. About you Technical Experience (required) A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification. Experience with Dell PowerScale (Isilon) & PowerObject, HPE 3Par/Alletra, Nutanix Files and SAN technologies such as Brocade/Cisco SAN switches. Expertise in OneFS administration, including SmartQuotas, SmartPools, SmartConnect, SyncIQ, SnapshotIQ and Active Directory/LDAP integration. Proficiency with backup solutions, especially Veeam, including knowledge of Veeam components and cloud integration. Experience with Tape Libraries, including Virtual Tape Libraries. Operational experience in data replication, snapshots and virtualization technology (VMware). Technical Experience (desirable) Familiarity with Nutanix. Knowledge of the Broadcast/Production sector. Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) for routine tasks, reporting and configuration management across storage and backup platforms. Exposure to cloud backup integration (Azure/AWS with Veeam or PowerProtect). Windows and Linux server administration. Experience with AWS S3 for backup targets, archival and large‑scale data storage. Veeam VMCE. ITIL or a similar framework. Vendor or training certification for Dell, NetApp or VMware. Customer‑oriented, detail‑oriented, reliable working style. Enjoy working in a team environment.
