As a full‑time, permanent employee, you will work 38 hours per week with the potential for overtime and weekend work. Various areas require reliable new team members, depending on your previous experience and skill sets, you could find yourself doing any of the following activities: Production work/process line; trimming, cutting, boning and slicing; cleaning and sterilising work areas and equipment; general labouring; chiller room operations; operation of equipment and machinery; distribution and warehousing; packing; scanning; industrial cleaning. Wages: Level 6‑7 B – Annual $55,921 p.a.; Hourly $28.30 p.h.Level 5 – Annual $57,225 p.a.; Hourly $28.96 p.h.Level 4 – Annual $59,478 p.a.; Hourly $30.10 p.h.Level 3 – Annual $63,331 p.a.; Hourly $32.05 p.h.Level 2 – Annual $64,082 p.a.; Hourly $32.43 p.h.Level 1 – Annual $66,947 p.a.; Hourly $33.88 p.h. Slicer – Level 3, Annual $69,832 p.a.; Hourly $35.34 p.h. Boner – Level 3, Annual $73,646 p.a.; Hourly $37.27 p.h. Forklift Driver – Level 2 (Old), Annual $70,780 p.a.; Hourly $35.82 p.h. AWARD: Thomas Borthwick & Sons (Australia) Pty Ltd Mackay Enterprise Agreement 2022. Available Positions: 200. Estimated Start Date: 16/12/2025. Requirements Australian Citizen / Permanent Residency / Full Working Rights in Australia are essential. Pass a pre‑employment medical check including drug and alcohol test. Physical stamina, attention to detail, strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a diverse team. Willingness to work in hot and cold environments in a factory setting. Q‑Fever vaccinated or willing to receive the vaccination. Be able to provide two reference checks. Immediate start possible. Availability across day and afternoon shift (early morning and mid‑afternoon starts depending on your assigned role and previous experience).
