You'll ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing to support the core functions of a national professional services firm.You'll also play a key leadership role, mentoring team members and collaborating across departments to deliver innovative solutions.What You'll Be Doing Design and implement robust network solutions tailored to business needs Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability Implement best-in-class security protocols to protect infrastructure and data Provide expert-level support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards What You Bring A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred) 5 to 7 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or cloud-focused network engineering role Industry certifications such as:AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Skills and Experience Deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and best practice Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions Knowledge of network security best practices and tools Experience in implementing and managing network security measures Proven experience in managing and leading network projects Strong organisational skills to handle multiple projects and priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to explain technical network concepts to non-technical stakeholders Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed technical network documentation Strong focus on providing excellent technical support and service to users Ability to understand and address user needs effectively Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements Life at RSM: RSM provides a great environment to build skills and confidence and we help our people achieve their best.
