To be successful, you will have… Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Extensive clinical nursing experience in the areas of assessment and management of older patients in the community and/or patients in the emergency department. Demonstrated experience and skills in the coordination, delivery and evaluation of health care programs. Demonstrated skills in meeting legislative and accreditation requirements. Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution. Computer Literacy including use of Microsoft Office Programs. Position Profile Undertakes assessments and provides clinical nursing expertise to ensure best practice for older patients in the emergency department and then intervention post emergency department presentation in the community. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team to help prevent hospitalisation and representations by ensuring older patients are supported in the community. Area Profile WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health region of WACHS. The Kimberley region has approximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over 34 different Aboriginal language groups and 45 percent of the population are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
