Speech Pathologist – Blue Care (Gold Coast) Join our team as a Speech Pathologist with UnitingCare Queensland’s Blue Care Network, based on the Gold Coast. Employment Details Employment Term: Permanent Part‑time (3 days per week). Full‑time considered with tele‑health options. Location: Gold Coast Remuneration: $42.15 – $59.04 per hour + 12% Super + salary packaging benefits. Annual leave: 5 weeks pro‑rata. Role & Responsibilities You’ll provide individualized, person‑centred speech therapy to elderly clients living in our communities and actively incorporate contemporary theory and practice into therapy that promotes independence and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include: Proactively screen and assess clients to formulate and maintain up‑to‑date individualized care plans. Maintain open and fluid communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Refer clients to appropriate health professionals when necessary. Liaise compassionately with clients and their families. About the Role You’ll be passionate about implementing innovative therapies designed to enable clients to maintain and improve their independence. You’ll be self‑motivated and driven to incorporate contemporary theory in your day‑to‑day activities and make a real difference to the lives of our clients. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology. Experience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in aged care (graduates encouraged to apply). Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships. Clear understanding and experience with contemporary speech pathology theories and practices. Current Australian driver’s licence and a road‑worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required. Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
