The Role Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivated Security 2IC to join one of our busy Retail Sites in Sunshine The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and grow your career in the Security Industry. Duties & Responsibilities include: Manage and lead a team of Security Officers Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system Assess and mitigate risks on site Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on-duty Use communication systems including portable two-way radios Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty Promote and maintain workplace health and safety Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs Key Selection Criteria: Valid Security Licence is a must Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required Security supervisory or management experience preferred Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded) Reliable transportation (preferred). Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. The ability to follow instructions and work independently Strong attention to detail Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site A proven track record of reliability and punctuality Why Join Millennium?
