Your role will be essential in supporting the health and wellbeing of older Australians by ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout our facility. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you You will: Ensure that all areas of the residence are kept hygienic and presentable Contribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards Ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely manner About you You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, you also: Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents’ property and privacy Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment Have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices An understanding of infection control procedures Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a team Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the B E S T way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care A current Working WithChildren Check card Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role.
