About the role: As an NDIS Support Coordinator you will work with participants to search for, coordinate, and implement supports in their plan, including informal, mainstream, community and funded services. You will also support participants to build skills, increase community participation and independence. Key Functions: Support participants in implementing NDIS plans and identifying/selecting providers. Apply creative problem‑solving to achieve positive outcomes. Manage crises as they arise. Optimise plans to use funded support effectively and keep expenses within budget. Empower participants to self‑direct their own support arrangements. Assist participants in preparing for plan reviews. Maintain clear, accurate and timely record‑keeping. Maintain a professional and ethical approach to supporting people with disabilities. Meet KPI targets related to service delivery billing. Travel locally to meet participants as needed. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate strong IT, administrative and computer literacy. Show exceptional active listening, politeness, empathy and tact. Criteria: Previous experience as a Coordinator of Support or in a related field. Strong administrative skills. Minimum Diploma in Community Services, Mental Health, Counselling, Welfare Support, Disability Support, Social Work or related area. Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You”, with certificate. Current driver’s licence. Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
