Civil Construction Roles - Landscaping Operators Capstone Civil Group is a collaborative, reliable, commercial civil and remediation company specialising in Civil Engineering, Hazardous Material Remediation, Project Management and contractor solutions for earthworks, roads, concreting and remediation. We are a proud Indigenously owned business and are dedicated to working closely with our clients, completing vital projects to deadlines and providing them with a successful outcome resulting in long term business relationships and infrastructure that’s built to last. We offer core services with regard to civil contracting and also provide management of the classification, removal and validation of most hazardous materials. We currently have opportunities for experienced candidates to join our teams in Canberra as Landscape Plant Operators for landscaping and minor civil works. Key responsibilities for the roles include: Operate plant machinery such as excavators, backhoes, rollers, and skid steers for earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and compaction. Shaping, levelling, and finishing surfaces (roads, pads, trenches, embankments, etc.) Follow project plans and instructions to carry out site tasks. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site-specific WHS requirements. You will have suitable experience in a similar role, along with the following skills: Experience in a similar role. Truck Licence an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to use initiative and be proactive. Exceptional organisational, time efficiency, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions. Highly motivated. High level of attention to detail. Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
