Lead a busy trade counter, grow key trade accounts and drive sales performance for a well-established national trade retail business . This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the floor, enjoys building strong relationships with builders and trades, and leads by example. You’ll play a key role in driving trade sales, margins and customer loyalty while supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations. The role is based in the Northern Gold Coast , ideal for candidates located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. About the Role As Trade Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the trade channel and be a key leader within the store. Your focus will be on driving sales growth , developing trade relationships and leading a small trade team to deliver outstanding service. This is not a desk-based role — you’ll be actively involved across the trade counter, warehouse and customer interactions . What You’ll Be Doing Running the day-to-day trade counter and warehouse operations Driving trade sales, margins and repeat business Managing key trade customers and growing inactive accounts Leading, coaching and supporting the trade team Working closely with the Store Manager on targets and performance Overseeing stock, safety and operational standards. About You You’re a confident, practical leader who enjoys being hands-on and working in a fast-paced trade environment.. You’ll bring: Experience in trade sales, trade counter operations or retail leadership Strong sales focus with an understanding of margins and KPIs The ability to build rapport with trades, builders and contractors Leadership skills with a supportive, lead-from-the-front approach A strong commitment to safety and operational standards.
