What you’ll do Work in a multi‑disciplinary software engineering team solving design challenges, domain modelling, and technical problems. Engineer solutions for smart meters, writing robust, fault‑tolerant Python and Django Celery / async processing code. Address difficult design challenges in the energy market, which is complicated, outdated, and process‑heavy. Process millions of meter readings a day as we deploy smart meters. Technology stack (priority order) Python Django (or equivalent web framework) Domain modelling HTTP and REST APIs Robust, fault‑tolerant software development Celery and async processing Postgres Bonus experience AWS Terraform, Packer, Consul React and Redux What you will love about us A culture where people learn, decide, and build quickly with autonomy and wide-ranging ownership.
