Here in Cairns, we are looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist to join our Oceans and Environment team and grow your career with us. The role As An Environmental Consultant, You Will Be Supported By Experienced Colleagues While Gaining Greater Independence In Technical And Client-facing Work. You Will Undertake site investigations, surveys, dataset interpretation and modelling Prepare high-quality environmental reports and advice Contribute to projects across environmental management and remediation Support project management on small to medium assignments, including risk identification and quality standards Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and perspectives are understood Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and collaborative team spirit About You You are a degree-qualified professional in a relevant field with developing consultancy experience. You are: Ideally with two years plus experience in a similar role Growing your technical expertise with a desire for continual learning Confident in engaging with clients and presenting findings clearly Capable of working independently on site and in report preparation Interested in managing projects and understanding the financial and risk aspects involved Committed to safety, quality and building strong working relationships Professional certification and ongoing industry training will be highly regarded.
