An opportunity has become available for two Psychologists (Mental Health - Inpatient Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000‑strong team is on providing world‑class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Suitable for experienced clinicians and new graduates with relevant placement or similar experience Full supervision provided, with opportunity to complete the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program for practice endorsement Be part of a multidisciplinary team that values psychological input in care planning and service development Contribute to group program design, clinical reviews, and quality improvement initiatives Access structured professional development through Gold Coast Health's Capability Frameworks About you To be successful in this position you will require: A tertiary degree in Psychology AHPRA Registration Strong clinical skills in psychological assessment and intervention A commitment to ethical, consumer‑centred care Enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced, supportive team environment Driver Licence Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Permanent full time (two positions) Base salary ranging from $79 051 - $116 189 per annum About Us Inpatient units support adults experiencing an acute mental health episode and may support care needs of consumers admitted to a Patient Intensive Care Unit (PICU), when clinically indicated. There are a variety of programs available for consumers to attend while in hospital, and Gold Coast Health Psychologists participate in, and may lead case reviews, morning meetings with the people admitted to the unit, and one or more group programs.
