We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join the Service team in Tonsley. As an Automation Technician our ideal candidate will have a background in working on industrial control systems, a keen interest for continuous learning and an ability to produce safe, reliable and maintainable PLC and SCADA systems to meet clients’ requirements within a wide variety of sectors. This is a permanent full‑time role for a licensed electrician. You will be experienced in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across some of the major platforms including Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider. In this role, you will: Provide field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industries. Perform preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation. Conduct electrical installation works. Assist with commissioning of projects. Handle on‑job reporting and invoicing. Skills and experience: A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment. Must have industrial electrical experience. PLC programming (ideally in Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider) and HMI/SCADA programming (ideally in Citect, FactoryTalk or WinCC). Electrical installation and commissioning experience. Commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability and desire to participate in a rotating after‑hours on‑call roster. Australian driver’s licence and unrestricted Electrical Licence.
