About Better Beginnings: Better Beginnings is Western Australia’s early literacy program that connects families with books through free reading packs and library programs. Proudly delivered by the State Library of Western Australia for 20 years, the program reaches every family with young children in WA. Its goal is to encourage families to read, talk, sing, draw and play with their children daily to foster a love of reading and support brain and skill development in the early years. Vacancy This fixed-term, full-time position is available from January 2026 to June 2028 and can be based anywhere in Western Australia. The Role We are seeking a motivated individual to lead and deliver the Better Beginnings community impact initiative to support the inclusive and equitable delivery of the Better Beginnings Program in regional Western Australia. This includes the incorporation of Aboriginal and CALD communities, and the provision of training, support and collaboration in two regional communities.
