Operations Support

Centre for Australian Industry – Hobart TAS Tassielink Transit are looking for a motivated, reliable Operations support/driver to join our team in Hobart. This diverse role will include a mix of both working as a member of the operations team daily and driving our fleet of modern buses. What Operations Provides to Tassielink: Supports the coordination and implementation of our service and charter work on a daily basis. Coordinates and implements operational systems and strategies to ensure effective and efficient client services. Provides an open line of clear communication between customers, drivers and management. Problem solving and relaying the appropriate information/documentation required to drivers and other staff in a timely matter. Data entry, collates, reviews and actions customer complaints/feedback. Complete and follow up incident reports including vehicle claim forms. Provides support and assistance with any other requirements as instructed. Driving duties as required. Coordinated with workers to maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment. We are looking for: A motivated and enthusiastic person with a friendly and outgoing nature. Well-presented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Has the ability to problem solve and prioritise workloads and commitments. Experience with Microsoft programs and data entry. Sound knowledge and experience or held an operational role within the transport industry or similar. Experience in dealing with people including customer service. The ability to follow instructions, be flexible, with the willingness to learn. Key Experience and Qualifications you will need: Hold an MR licence or above (with the ability to upgrade from automatic to manual licence if required) Hold a PPV and working with vulnerable people licence or the ability to obtain both. Flexibility to work shifts and rosters including weekend work as directed, both charter and route service work. Collect fares, issue tickets via the ticket machine, account for all money’s collected. Basic bus cleaning and maintenance with the ability to perform a thorough pre departure check via the driver app. Basic two-way radio communication. Provide exceptional customer service.
