Health Promotion Officer The Health Promotion Officer is responsible for contributing to improved health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for women and gender diverse people in the Barwon South West Region. The role involves development, delivery and evaluation of effective and integrated health promotion programs and strategies, using a gendered, intersectional and capacity building approach. An understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of women and gender‑diverse people, as well as the structural factors that cause and maintain health inequities, is vital. Knowledge of the Gender Equality Act and experience conducting gender impact assessments would also be beneficial, along with facilitation experience. Reporting to the Health Promotion Team Leader, the Health Promotion Officer will provide quality, contemporary expertise in translating, implementing and evaluating research, policy and initiatives that progress population improvements in women’s health.
