Myaree Sports Massage is hiring a Full time Remedial Massage Therapist in Myaree, WA. Join our team of professional therapists. Overview Myaree Sports Massage is a massage clinic focused on therapeutic massage and integrates a variety of alternative therapies. Located in Myaree, south of Perth, our clinic offers a convenient, spacious, and hygienic workplace with friendly management and a team of professional therapists. Our mission is to provide clients with effective remedies through various massage techniques to alleviate stress, aches, pains, and strains, aid recovery or rehabilitation, and improve overall health. Requirements Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required Expected salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year Responsibilities Perform a range of remedial massage therapies targeting individual client needs. Conduct initial client consultations to assess needs and discuss treatment options. Review existing client treatment records and adjust treatments as necessary. Record client treatment history and maintain organized client files. Assess client’s physical condition and case history to provide advice on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques. Read client treatment plans and case history prior to client arrival. Perform soft tissue massage including muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing. Identify specific treatments for soft tissue dysfunction and discuss rehabilitation techniques with clients. Perform various massage techniques including acupressure, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, scraping, shiatsu, etc. Use complementary aids such as infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, herbal and mineral therapies to assist recovery. Promote company services and maintain a clean working environment. Maintain client records, appointment bookings, and payment facilities. Qualifications & Skills Diploma of Remedial Massage Health Fund Provider Number Professional Insurance First Aid certification Working with children’s check Minimum 2 years of experience in massage Experience in medical-related industries is preferable Good communication skills Ability to speak a second language (other than English) is preferred Salary $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year.
