The Actuarial Analyst will provide actuarial, analytical and technical support to the Actuarial Results team. Monthly Actuarial Results including accounting journals for Finance Quarterly and Annual APRA forms Consolidated Actuarial Valuation Reports for AAI Risk Margin and Claims Handling Expense Reviews Actuarial, analytical and technical support includes: Data preparation, validation and analysis Design or assessment of the reasonableness and suitability of models and results prepared Documentation of processes, analysis and investigations undertaken Preparation of reports to present results. What you’ll bring Relevant degree in Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics and Computer Science related field – Mandatory Progression through Part I and II Actuarial Exams – Desired Knowledge of spreadsheet modelling (Excel) and data extraction (SQL or SAS) preferred Strong analytical aptitude Work as a team member and communicate effectively (oral & written) Can work independently/limited guidance to meet the deliverables If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for, apply now At Suncorp we believe we are our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
