Animal Care Team – Duty Managers, Maintenance Staff & Attendants Dogdayz is a leading provider of premium dog boarding services – with multiple sites throughout metropolitan Melbourne. We are now seeking a range of responsible and capable staff for our NEW LYSTERFIELD SITE covering animal care, maintenance and Duty Management. If you are a genuine dog-lover who thrives in an active team environment, this could be your next and best career move. Available roles We offer a variety of physically active hands-on roles: Maintenance staff, Kennel attendants to Duty Managers – all requiring confidence with dogs and strong customer service skills. Definite for permanent (38 hours per week) but expect to start on casual basis through initial trial period. $34–$40 per hour + superannuation + penalty rates. Key Responsibilities Daily dog care: feeding, exercising, monitoring health and wellbeing. Safe dog handling and responding to behavioural concerns. Customer service and administration. Cleaning, repair and light construction, and general site maintenance. Transporting dogs when required. About You You will have at least one or more of the following: Animal handling experience (professional or personal). Staff management or office experience. Animal or Agricultural industry qualifications or acquired knowledge. Trade skills or relevant strong work history. Broad Office and Admin skills. Above all, you will need to demonstrate: Confidence in handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments. A genuine commitment to animal care.
