As part of a small skilled team youll be involved in brownfield works on transmission substations covering both primary HV and secondary systems. This role is based on a 5 / 2 roster. About You Experience working in HV substation environments Ability to assist with HV / LV cable installations including cable trays and terminations Hands-on experience with primary HV and secondary systems installation including switchgear isolators transformers and control panels Strong communication and time management skills Willingness to assist with general site housekeeping as required Competency in operating maintaining and working safely with hand tools small plant and mobile equipment A strong commitment to Zero Harm and safety-first practices Desirable Skills & Qualifications Construction White Card Valid drivers licence LVR / CPR competency (not essential but willingness to obtain is required) Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications High Risk Work (HRW) licence EWP and / or Forklift About Energy & Utilities Downers Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
