About the role Make a Splash in our community swimming pools We are looking for lifeguards to provide a safe and inclusive environment for our community, ensuring a high level of supervision across the site with the ability to respond to emergency situations. Opportunities are available at our aquatic centres in Grafton and Yamba. The successful applicant will need to be available to work Monday through to Sunday, some early mornings and some late evenings depending on the needs of the Centre. What you need to know... Casual Hours as required The package: $31.32 - $37.35 per hour, plus 25% casual loading, plus superannuation Location: Yamba and/or Grafton To be considered for this position you will need to: Address the essential criteria, refer to attached position description Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this position. You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities. Target questions - answer the 3 target questions - maximum 300 words each question Attach relevant certificates and licences. Other important information Positions are located at Council's Clarence Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton and Yamba Community Heated Pool, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
