About us Digital Dental Laboratories is a Southeast Queensland based dental laboratory servicing the wider dental community. We provide both clinical and technical services to our patients and dentists. We have a team of 8 technicians who work across our two sites in Southport and Tweed Heads. We also have 4 prosthetists that service our clinics ranging from Brisbane to Tugan. Our lab has two milling machines and a 3D metal printer, our clinics are also all equipped with intra‑oral scanners; we love digital dentistry If you want to work in the Gold Coast and are looking for a challenge and growth in your career, we are looking for another team member in our dynamic team at our Tweed Heads Lab Site. About the role An opportunity currently exists for a candidate to join our team as a Digital AND Analog Removable Technician or Dental Prosthetist. Successful applicant must be self‑motivated, and possess a professional and positive attitude, as well as the ability to work to instructions and as a team to achieve great outcomes. Reporting to the Lab Manager and working in conjunction with a wider team of dental professionals, the ideal candidate will possess skills in: All aspects of the plaster room work Full workflow of acrylic partial and full dentures Want to learn how to design chrome partial dentures using digital CAD software. Design full and partial dentures using digital CAD software (not necessary but an advantage) Collaborate on the digital workflow from model analysis through to mill and print‑ready files Work closely with production and finishing teams to ensure optimal results for our Prosthetists Providing non‑technical duties within the laboratory as directed by the Lab Manager For applicants applying for the Prosthetist role you must be AHPRA registered and possess insurance to practice, registration is possible to be acquired after job offer. DDL will provide training and calibration sessions to ensure that all clinicians in the team provide the same level of care to all patients throughout the team.
