Lovisa Opportunity : The Warehouse Person is responsible for the efficient handling, picking, packing and receiving of goods in our Derrimut warehouse. This role ensures that products are correctly stored, orders are accurately fulfilled and inventory is effectively managed to support our operations. Casual position. Shifts will be rostered between Monday to Friday with start times ranging from 7:00am. The role includes occasional weekend and public holiday work. Accurately pick products from shelves directed by pick sheets. Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping. Label and prepare packages for shipment. Scan and process incoming deliveries. Unpack and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies. Put away stock into pick locations directed by labels. Store products accurately in designated locations within the warehouse. Perform regular stock checks as directed by inventory lead and assist in inventory audits when needed. Ensure that all products meet quality standards before shipment. Report any issues or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager. Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks trolleys safely and responsibly. Work Environment : The role involves physical activity including lifting, bending, walking and standing and pushing trolleys for extended periods. The warehouse environment may be subject to varying temperatures depending on season and time of day. Picking repetitively from below knee and above shoulder height levels for products. Utilising trolleys to pick and move the weight of products. Trolleys can weigh up to 33KGs empty; will weigh higher than 33kg when picking and filling up the trolley. Able to lift up to 25kg from standing. Standing and walking for extended periods. Picking requires walking throughout the DC for the whole duration of the shift (up to 8 hours). Packing in dispatch and E-Comm requires standing for the entirety of the shift (up to 8 hours). Sitting for extended periods whilst performing relabelling duties (up to 8 hours). Utilising ladders to pull and handle heavy cartons from reserve locations. Be able to safely and effectively climb a ladder. Be able to operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks weighing up to 60kg unweighted or up to 500kg weighted. Ability to read and write in English. Temperatures can range in the warehouse dependent on the seasons and times of operation.
