Overview We are looking for a highly organised and effective Producer to join the Hogarth team. The role is immediate start, and we can consider contract or permanent based employment. Please note that we cannot offer sponsorship as part of this role. About the Role As a shoot-focused Producer within Hogarth Studio’s Production team, you will be responsible for effective scoping and delivery of content projects – with the capability to take a client brief for any form of content, including motion, social, stills, OOH, retail or campaign projects and see it through the content ideation, making and optimisation stages. With your experience grounded in Line/Shoot Production, you will manage both direct-to-client work, and work closely with Creative Agencies in an Agency Producer capacity. At a day to day level, you will have responsibility for the production planning and execution across of projects of varying scale within your remit, producing work that skews to motion, but may include Retail, Stills, and OOH through to post-production and VFX. This will include engaging directly with clients, managing expectations, schedules, budgets, assets and project scopes - with a high level of attention to detail on all aspects of production from creative, shoots and post, through to financial reporting on completion. You will need to ensure projects are thoroughly mapped; have clearly defined schedules; are profitable, and the quality of output is always high. While an interest in all forms of production including social-first content production will be critical, you will need to have a core proficiency in shoot producing. With support from Production leadership when required, you will coordinate and manage all aspects of the video & shoot production process including coordinating crews, booking talent, sourcing equipment and general scheduling logistics. When required to engage with our ad agency partners, you will collaborate with Creative teams and their Client(s) to deliver on agreed vision and strategy. Along with an understanding of the technical skills required to execute all relevant content formats in an effective and timely manner. The role is accountable for having an excellent understanding of creative content production and project management tools, best-practices, and flexibility in order to lead a diverse and dynamic team. At its core, this role requires not only a great producer, but also a friend of creative, a diplomat and problem solver; a collaborative operator who can determine how to get things done with budgets large and small. Someone who values craft and brings a passion for all things food. What You’ll Do Successfully manage multiple content production projects independently, from initiation through to shoot and post, and material distribution, at a high level of quality and within time/budget constraints. Manage production activities within the Content Studio (pre-production, shoots, post-production) collaborating with internal creators, external creatives, clients and third party suppliers Ensure that the broader team has the resource, space and time to develop great content, while maximising efficiency in process and project financials Develop realistic and justifiable production and post estimates, scope and timeline for all projects, and be accountable for project budgets being adhered to Communicate effectively: Serve as the key contact on relevant projects: help define and maintain vision, be considerate to strategic requirements and timelines, demystify complex ideas, and manage team expectations Track ongoing costs throughout project lifecycle, working with Production Leadership and Finance to reconcile estimates to actuals on all projects Proactively identify project issues/risks, assists in issue/risk resolution Address resource issues, quality of work and timeliness of deliverables with client; having the confidence to push back tactfully where appropriate Meet regularly with key Client Leads to contribute toward the overall development and health of the account Review production process and practices with an eye toward enhancing and increasing effectiveness, and employing best practices Optimise work streams and find ways to create output more efficiently (e.g., team reallocation) Ensure project and digital asset management tools are used appropriately to support all content processes Mentor junior members of the team in problem solving/course-correcting projects Build partnerships within and outside of your Content team, across the Hogarth business, applying expertise appropriately What You’ll Bring Likely to have at least 6 years of production experience in production company or integrated agency or similar environments, with experience across the production lifecycle from in camera capture to integrated channel deployment Demonstrated ability to solve problems with the solution that works for all parties without compromising the quality of the deliverables or the project Innate understanding of production finance, profitability and effective resourcing Successful history of engaging with client stakeholders, with demonstrable experience in setting and delivering on stakeholder expectations A strong list of crew, production company and freelance contacts, and an understanding of how to work with them to create the best work A professional but approachable demeanour, with the ability to handle with grace the uncertainties associated with a fast-paced production environment Strong understanding of the post production process and the resources needed to deliver content projects across stills, video, animation and digital media Please note: Given the nature of the work, successful clearance for Working with Children may be required. Diversity & Inclusion Hogarth is an equal-opportunity employer. That means we believe in creating a truly inclusive culture that values diversity, equity and inclusion for everyone through our ideas, our people, how we behave and how we conduct ourselves. We strive to recruit people from diverse backgrounds and support them to achieve long-term success. This not only makes Hogarth a better company and place to work, but an environment where everyone can give their point of view, experience connection, enjoy opportunity and feel a sense of belonging. We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or belief, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, marital status, military veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, or physical or mental disability. As part of our commitment to making our hiring processes as equitable as possible, we are currently rolling out a policy which ensures that hiring managers review CVs only after they have been processed through an automated anonymisation system. This aims to ensure that all candidates are considered for interview based solely on their experience and what they can bring to the role. The solution, provided by MeVitae, scans and redacts CVs to reduce potential reviewer bias. Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that for most people in a Producer-centred role, working life at Hogarth will involve working from office (Hogarth or partner agency) for 3 to 4 days per week.
